Year 2008/2009

New Years Eve we began with going to Manly beach. Although it is usually pretty overcrowded it is still our favourite place to take a sunbath and swim. We became already master in body-surfing : ) – we know how to hit a wave and get floated away until sea edge were usually small children play. We start thinking about buying our first small surfboard :) Beneath Me and above Christina = some shots of our jumpy joy on the beach: )

We still suffer from tireness. Yes, yes, New Years Eve party surprised us very positively and brought a lot of good vibes. After coming back from the beach, we only managed to eat and change the make-up. We set out toward City. We didn’t know quite well where to get off to find good place to watch fireworks – this problem was solved by Australians :). Soon after we got on train to City we were “attacked” by three slightly drunk girls. Very funny ones, I was close to get tired from smiling and laughing. Out of sudden they handed us the tickets to Pacha nightclub with 125 $ price on each. We were with Christina shocked at the beginning. We didn’t know what kind of charity it is and how we can pay back. But it turned out that the tickets were given to them for free and they had no time join the party. We steeped out on Town Hall Station and headed toward Darling Harbour. First “knockout” before reaching public party = No alcohol!!! We had to do something with our Rosnay organic sparkling wine : ) We decided to open it before midnight. We took two sips and we left the bottle open in the bush in front of party and we finished it after 2 hours of good time in Darling Harbour. Fireworks were just like any fireworks around the world at this time : ) but the music was exceptionally good. We couldn’t stay still, we were dancing a lot.

Around 1am public party was over and we headed to nearby Pacha nightclub. At some point I was thinking that every second person in Sydney got this 125$ ticket for free. It was overcrowded, people moving from on spot to another with glasses full of drinks, pushing and touching each other and saying sorry once in a while. For a while I thought that it is perfect place for scene of group love like in Patrick Suskind’s book “Perfume” (adopted later by film-maker). The only missing thing was perfumer and killer Jean-Baptiste Grenouille who will spread the magic scent of young virgin over our heads :) Look at the picture:

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
